Michael Loui

Michael C. Loui has been the Dale and Suzi Gallagher Professor of Engineering Education at Purdue University since 2014. He was previously a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and University Distinguished Teacher-Scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. While at Illinois, he was one of the founding co-principal investigators for NCPRE. Professor Loui was Executive Editor of College Teaching from 2006 to 2012, and Editor of the Journal of Engineering Education from 2012 to 2017. He currently serves as a member of the editorial boards of College Teaching and Accountability in Research, and as a member of the Joint Advisory Group for the Online Ethics Center at the National Academy of Engineering.
