Ayesha Sengupta is an Academic Researcher at the National Center for Principled Leadership and Research Ethics, University of Illinois and a Ph.D. Candidate at Maharishi International University, Iowa. She is a former visiting research scholar at The George Washington University, DC. She is the winner of the MSR Most Promising Dissertation Proposal Award at the Academy of Management, Chicago, 2018, the recipient of the Fetzer Institute Scholarship for AOM, 2019 and the Doctoral Institute Scholarship from the Management & Organizational Behavior Teaching Society, 2022. Her area of research includes leadership, women's leadership and empowerment, DEI in organizations, intersectionality and racial discrimination, and organizational change and development. She has prior experience working in higher education administration and in non-profit organizations in various capacities. Additionally, she has 6 years of experience conducting international academic summits in the area of leadership, spirituality, and management. She is deeply committed to contributing towards the improvement of lives across the globe through research and active participation in endeavors fulfilling the same.
